How are we today? Good? That's good :) today we'll be talking God and his love for us. Troubles befall us every now and then. In these troubles we feel alone and so confused. In most cases we get to a place where we can't decide on what to do or which direction follow. It just gets so hard but here's something encouraging 1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." God got you. Sometimes something we've been hoping for happens and we are beyond happy! A prayer finally answered, faith finally pulls through. In these moments I believe God reaches out to us. 1 Chornicles 16:11 "Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always". We ought to look to him and his strength because we regain our strength from him. For no man or thing can take up Gods place in our lives and that's why I believe the moment that starts to happen, he calls us back to him for our own good.

Especially in the confusing moments of our lives. He wants us to learn to count on him before we can count on man. He wants us to draw close to him and trust that he'll pull through for us. It seems even harder when its quiet and there's no response from him. But Gods time is the best. When we run to our father first, he is ready to comfort us and listen to our hearts.

When you look at your life today, in what situation is God calling you to draw closer to him? Are you responding to his call?

Paint your world in color, be brave enough to let go of the black and white. Ask God to connect you to your purpose and day by day, let him unlock the secrets that are deep within you. Don't be afraid to laugh or smile, be bold and walk in God's confidence. Fear nothing because you know he got you. Be the beautiful person that you were created to be and never forget that God makes no mistakes. Also, you created you out of love and for love.

Burdens

How is everyone on this lovely day ;) feeling great?!! Not really? Me neither :(

What burdens do you carry? I'd like for you to wrote them down on a piece of paper, don't worry, I'll wait... You done? Okay, cool. Can you pin point a cause for those burdens? Is it people, is it circumstance? What is the cause? I want you to know that you're not alone carrying burdens. Many of us go about our lives with extra weights on our shoulders and we have no one to share this load with.
Your heart is constantly weighed down and you feel like no one understands despite having explained yourself a couple thousand times no one just gets it! Our journey's are different and sometimes it's hard for people to place themselves in your shoes. Some do try but they can't fully understand so they opt to be there for you in the best way they no how. It works...a little but it just doesn't seem enough right?
"I've been in the fire so long I can't get burnt no more" a line from Erica Campbell's song titled "help". You've tried everything, from counseling, alcohol, sex to drugs but your burdens are only getting heavier. Question? Have you tried Jesus Christ? I know I know you're saying religion,no, am talking Jesus Christ the one who went on that cross to die for you. You've heard this before right? Me too but I gave him a shot and I haven't looked back since.

You see, the difference between Jesus and people is that he truly understands you. He came down and lived a human life to save yours, so he knows what it's like to be human. He has been betrayed, beaten, sold, laughed at and crucified. He wants to be there for you and at his feet you can leave your burdens.

Heart of value

How's everyone on this chilly Wednesday? Hope all is all well :)

Last night, as I was preparing for bed, a thought crossed my mind. How many of us actually value our hearts? When we think of the things we value, the way we take care of them, can we also say we do the same with our heart? Our most treasured things are kept safe in well guarded places, seen and used on occasion. Few are allowed to touch them because we fear that they might ruin them.

Imagine if you did the same with your heart. If you placed it in a well guarded, secure location where only a selected few have the code , how different would your life be today? The Bible says, "Above all else,guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Proverbs 4:23 NIV. God knew the value of our hearts at the birth of our creation and that's why the very moment it is formed in a womb and starts beating, it should never stop until you take your last breathe.

The safest place you can keep such a treasure is in Gods hands. For he will keep it safe from the people who are out to hurt you, they'll have to go through him to get to you. You will be saved the countless heartbreaks because he will show you the right people to give the code too. You've probably had a few heartbreaks in your years, we all have. Its not too late to let God heal, fix all the lose and broken pieces. He made you after all, so in times of repair he has the original parts. Self help books can only go so far. Let God keep your heart of value safe.

Happy Wednesday!!!

Okay, so I was thinking, we all have the same amount of time, no one has special extra hours or anything but how is it other people are way ahead than others? Well, am sure you know the answer to that, its in the title.. Most of us don't know what we want.

How can you go after what you don't know? How can your heart be ready to go after something big when there's no passion for anything? You need to figure out what you want and go go go!

How do you figure it out? Look at your talents, write down a list of things that you enjoy doing, write down dreams you've had all that your heart has ever dreamed of. Its easier to narrow it down from there. What makes you happy? What are you willing to go after inspite of the nay sayers? What is your thing?

I always believe working with God is important because he made you after all right? So he knows you better than anyone ever will. So sit down and have a chat, really sit down and converse because time is of the essence.

Is being pretty enough?

I was thinking, is being pretty enough? I was walking around at the mall yesterday and noticed two beautiful, well dressed girls with well shaped bodies walking towards me. I couldn't help but look twice. One good heightened girl in a little black dress that showed off that hour glass shape, the other tall in blue jeans, black top and Grey jacket that too showed off her hour glass figure. With the standards of this world rising concerning beauty, I couldn't help but wonder what they had to do to maintain that figure. As I walked to the restroom, I was harassed by slender manikins in body hugging clothes displayed in clothing stores.

I thought to myself, this is the standard the world is setting for what women should look like. Imagine how someone not that size would feel going to the mall everyday and seeing the same figures. We have make up stores that are making huge profits off of us. I'm not saying that make up and clothes are bad, no, what am saying is, is being just pretty enough?

Young girls all over the world believe true beauty is whats on the outside. Women work out twice as much as they used to, eat less because they're trying to maintain that beautiful figure. Is being just pretty enough?

What about the mind? Women read alright, how to stay healthy and 10 steps to lose that tummy fat, how to conture the right way, celebrity style wardrop and so on. Beauty is more than all of this, beauty is heart and soul. Our mind is to be exercised in such a way as to boost ourselves to be world changes. Do take care of your body, eat rightly but do remember that when your time comes, your body will return to the dust but what will we remember your for? Being pretty or changing the world?

You've made it!!! You've made it!!! Isn't that exciting!!! 😁😀 Entering a new year is always exciting and the fact that you're alive on the second day of the year is a blessing from God that ought to be appreciated.

Okay, so a new year means new plans, new you, new everything... Well,almost everything.

What are you plans for this new year?
Will you spend more time with God in prayer and meditation of his word?
What things will you change?
What vacation spots have you marked on your calendar?
Will you go to church?
Will you spend more time with your family? Will you get a job?
Will you work harder at your current job?
Will you change careers?
Will you choose to be happy?
Will you change your attitude towards life?
Will you let go of the people that hurt you?
Will you forgive them?
Will you love more?
Will you continue making excuses or will you get to get work?
Will smile more?

Remember, a new year means you get a year older, which should mean you get wiser. It also means you get stronger because you made it through all the crazy drama of last year.  The mistakes you made last year, should not repeat themselves this year. This year will bring battles of its own but if you made it through last year, you can do it again this year. You're stronger than you think you are.

Reflect and plan your life.
